BRITISH COLUMBIA / LOCAL PLANNING
Portable stage rental in Coquitlam, BC.
For an outdoor Coquitlam event, plan the venue application months ahead: the City lists different minimum lead times below and above 500 attendees. An indoor hall or sports field uses a different booking route.
Prepare a stage enquiry
Enquiries are welcome from Coquitlam. This is not a local branch. Delivery, equipment, installation scope and timing are confirmed for the event address and date.
Attendance changes the outdoor deadline.
Coquitlam's special-events application page says outdoor event applications with fewer than 500 attendees are due at least three months before the event and those with more than 500 are due at least six months ahead. Confirm treatment of an exact 500-person event and any stage-related approvals with the City; its page routes sports facilities and indoor bookings elsewhere.
Do not send a sports-field event through the plaza path.
The City distinguishes general park areas and Town Centre Park Community Plaza from sports fields, Percy Perry Stadium and indoor facilities. A stage at a public plaza needs a map of pedestrian flow, power and the vehicle route; an indoor facility requires room and load-in checks with Bookings. Pick the venue path before setting deck dimensions.
Coquitlam needs the attendance band and venue type.
Send the exact park, plaza, stadium or hall, audience estimate, event date, stage use, proposed position and booking status. The rental discussion should not obscure the City's longer outdoor application window.
