ONTARIO / LOCAL PLANNING
Portable stage rental in Kingston, ON.
For a Kingston park or Springer Market Square event, tell the City whether you will install a stage or risers. Before renting a separate unit, compare the City's two mobile stages with the space and production needs of your event.
Prepare a stage enquiry
Enquiries are welcome from Kingston. This is not a local branch. Delivery, equipment, installation scope and timing are confirmed for the event address and date.
The City chooses the park or special-event permit.
Kingston's application asks about installed stages, amplified sound, tents and generators; staff determine whether a one-time Park Permit or Special Event Permit applies. The same page says all such events need insurance. A City event permit does not automatically grant a vendor's business licence, so commercial activations need that question separately.
Kingston can supply a mobile stage itself.
The City lists a 20-by-24-foot SL100 and 20-by-16-foot SL75 stage for rent. Springer Market Square also has a small-performance amphitheatre and built-in power. Compare those options with the actual audience orientation and performer load before ordering a modular platform that may not add value.
Show the Kingston stage comparison.
Send the park, square or private venue, intended stage use, audience size, site map, power needs and whether the City stages or existing amphitheatre were available. State the remaining footprint or accessibility gap that a separate rental should solve.
