Church events often need one stage to support several moments: a speaker, worship team, choir or community program. The right plan begins with the people and equipment that must share the platform.
Plan your stage
List the largest on-stage moment, not just the number of people speaking at once.
Map every use of the stage.
A speaker may need little floor space, while a music team needs positions for instruments, stands and cables. Note transitions between them, where people enter, and what the congregation needs to see.
Respect the room’s existing systems.
Plan around seating, screens, lighting, sound positions, ceiling clearance, exits and access routes. If the stage is for a multi-day program, identify when the room must return to normal use.
Plan access for everyone on the platform.
Tell us whether speakers, musicians or participants need step-free access. Accessibility is an early layout decision, not a detail to add after the platform is sized.
